Volunteer — Overview

Volunteering at The Redwoods is a meaningful and fun experience. Like many of our residents who have a profound dedication to service and community, the contributions of our volunteers help define the unique culture of The Redwoods.

Our volunteers include some of our residents, adults from the community, National Charity League volunteers, and young people from local schools.

From our founders to our present day volunteers, a passion for service has forged our history and cultivated a spirit of community that sets The Redwoods apart.

If you would like to volunteer or learn more about contributing to life at The Redwoods, please email Noreen McKeon, Director of Programs & Volunteers, at to register for our next volunteer orientation.

Once you have completed the volunteer orientation, there are many volunteer opportunities available for you to support our residents and participate in the lively community of The Redwoods.
