Programs at The Redwoods are designed to support the health, wellness, and leisure of every resident. Based on a model of whole person wellness, we offer a full spectrum of physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual programs. Plus, many of our programs are developed in response to resident suggestions and strive to bring together residents from all parts of our campus.
From exercise classes to evening performances, exciting experiences and recreational opportunities abound for the residents of The Redwoods. We have small group discussions, films, arts, lectures, parties, classes, and events happening each day, and our programs are open to all residents.
In addition, The Redwoods prides itself on being an active part of the Mill Valley and Marin County communities. For example, local students participate in our intergenerational programs, and, at events like The Redwoods Senior Prom, students from nearby Tamalpais High School dance, dine and visit with residents. We also host ongoing College of Marin classes that are open to the public, and regularly partner with Dominican University's Occupational Therapy Department and UCSF's Nursing program to bring graduate level students and unique research based health programs to our campus.
